26 4dor dome light
I bought a dome light but it does not match the mounting holes in my car. Maybe someone can identify it for me.It is 3" round and the mounting holes are 3 5/8 " apart. It was supposed to be for a "T". The mounting holes in my car are 4 1/8" apart. Thats the light that I need . Anyone have a picture of it. Thank you

This is the proper dome light...
Sorry for being a bit out of focus. It was something of an ordeal to even get to it.

Re: 26 4dor dome light
The above pictured dome light is the proper one for a fordor. I don't know if it was used on fordors prior to 1926. The glass lens with what I call a "star" shaped pattern to it is correct. The metal part should be nickle plated. I have seen glass lens that were plain without the "star" pattern that will fit the bezel, but they are not correct. BTW: Vernon, Be Very Careful when buying parts from sellers who say parts fit this or that. Knowledgeable T owners who you see on the Forum will steer you straight, but "Joe Blow" who just collects junk and at best has one or two old cars which may or may not be Model T's, probably doesn't know his ears or nose from a hole in the ground (cleaning up the old saying).

A few pics of an original Fordor roof lamp and wiring and pillar switch.

Dan, that switch reminds me of years ago, needed one for my Fordor, saw one on ebay, got in a bidding war, paid 110. dollars for it next day close friend was telling me of this asshole that bidded him up on a switch, but did we have a good laugh on that one!

Re: 26 4dor dome light
I have an original mint condition starburst dome light glass and nickel plated bezel like the one shown. They are almost impossible to find.
