WOW ! Where Did My Post Go ?
I had just finished a lengthy reply to Gene French's post on the end of Chickasha. I hit the Enter button to post it and things went crazy. The post about the TV test pattern was there (both above and below my post. Then I backed out to the Discussion Forum topic page and then clicked on Gene's Chickasha topic, again. When it opened my post wasn't there. It had disappeared like the latest SPACE X rocket. If it happens to re-appear in another post's topic, and someone finds it, please let me know so i can correct or delete it. Thanks.

Re: WOW ! Where Did My Post Go ?
I've had that happen before, even after hitting the Submit button. Very frustrating to have to type the post over again. If I'm composing a lengthy post and I remember, I'll highlight and copy the text before I submit the post so that I can paste it back in on my second attempt.

Your supposed to hit the SUBMIT tab. Not the ENTER buttonModelTWoods wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 4:52 pmI had just finished a lengthy reply to Gene French's post on the end of Chickasha. The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

My BAD. I meant to say that I hit the SUBMIT button, but wrote the ENTER button. I did it right, like I usually do. Evidentially, I'm not the only one who has experienced my situation.TRDxB2 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 6:23 pmYour supposed to hit the SUBMIT tab. Re: WOW ! Where Did My Post Go ?
What likely happe should is what happens to me at least literally 50 PERCENT of the time! Oddly it's when someone is ready to post at the exact same time and he/she beats you to the finish line! Then when you go to look for your post it ain't there! Maddening as heck. I've learned that when I'm ready to hit the SUBMIT button I wait a sec and watch and by golly often there's someone's post right above mine even tho yes I've NOT actually posted! I've seen the screen "jump" a bit when that happens. This has saved me from re-doing it all over at least 3 times in as many weeks!

Sorry for sloppy typo above! I shoulda proof-read it! First words were to say "what likely happened..."

Re: WOW ! Where Did My Post Go ?
I think Tim nailed it, the times it has happened to me someone else was posting in the same thread at the same time. Just the luck of the draw, I suppose.

Re: WOW ! Where Did My Post Go ?
Not sure if yours is the same issue.
I discovered a ways back(Also after losing some lengthy posts), some instances a second submit is needed.
If I submit a post & a new post comes up above with mine during that process, there is a submit notice under my post. My post has not been inputted.
I have to hit the submit again. Then it posts.
