We love pickup trucks in Boulder!

I don’t usually bother stopping for photos, because we all know already that the model T is the coolest car ever. This I could not resist, as I have not seen one in person and don’t really know the capabilities …

It’s as big as an average full size truck.

The ‘27 roadster pickup was more interesting to the crowd, but the cybertruck blinked its lights whenever anyone got within arms reach, which was kinda Iike, charming? The brushed stainless panels, limo tint windows and huge knobbies made it look like a really nice refrigerator talked one of my old broncos into going home from the bar….attachment=0]IMG_0333.jpeg[/attachment
I’d love to see how well it works in the high country, and I wonder if any of these will go into barns and get dusted off for daily driving 96 years from now… -Chris, in Boulder

I'm confused on the photo of the 1927 pickup! The pickup box on this car appears to be an early 1926, With the forward stake pocket all the way up.

Eagle eye, Larry, nice catch! Model A wheels get by though? That is indeed a 26 bed but the frame, suspension, motor and trans, body, windshield and roof are from 27 so I usually defer to that. The turtle that came with my car had a wood box smashed in place of the deck lid, and I rescued this bed from a totally different hot rod project. Setting the roadster up in this configuration gave me a chance to get the fenders and running boards on while I work on a floor and lid for the turtle deck.

Larry, you may be confused about the '27, frankly I'm nauseated at that ugly monstrosity abortion of what Tesla ( I think that's the maker) thinks is a truck! Stupidist, ugliest POS I've ever seen.
