Rivet mounts at foldover base with 1 round and 1 square bolt holes but what for and where ?

Looks similar to body/frame mount on front end of my '26 coupe, although that green is not quite coupe green?

That is a 1926-7 hood shelf support bracket.

James. Not to keen on the color green my self but when it is Luray in a few weeks, I'm sure I will like the color green it turns to when exposed to sunlight!
