So I have a Stromberg OF and LF, and I want to get one of them working to put on my car this summer, probably the OF because it seems like it's all good to go, just was sitting on a shelf so there's some dust and grit inside I have to clean out.
The LF needs a new needle and seat very badly, and the OF one is a bit iffy. My question is what can I do about that? Does anyone sell a viton tipped needle or something? Or do I need to lap it in? I've lapped a needle and seat on a 1930s Evinrude outboard with some toothpaste, but I'm not sure what would be appropriate for this
