We're looking forward to seeing you all here in Richmond for the 2024 Homecoming May 29 - June 1.
The event starts with tours on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Pre-registration and a current MTFCA membership is required for the Thursday and Friday tours which are $20 per car/per day. Wednesday is free and open to all.
Friday night, we'll have an All American Pie Party. Join us at 5:00p for free pie donated by Michael Copperthite and the Connecticut Copperthite Pie Company. Ice cream will also be available for purchase because, well, you can't have pie without homemade ice cream. : )
On Saturday we will have some favorite activities returning and a new activity to be announced soon! The car show for pre-1930's cars runs from 10 - 2. No registration required so, drive your Model T over and enter it in the car show. You could win an award!
We will have Model T Take-A-Part demonstrations at 10a & 1p. This is always a fan favorites as the team works to beat it's best time to totally assemble a Model T from the ground up. Come and cheer them on as they hustle and then drive away.
At 10:30, Mark Atkins will do a workshop focusing on the Model T rear end and at 12n, Brent Terry will demonstrate Model T frame straightening in our Vintage Garage. These workshops are always informative and timely for getting your T out on the road.
Joining us this year are the cars that came after the Model T. You can see these beautiful Model A and Model B cars that will be on display throughout the day and, at 11:30, hear the owners talk about their treasured cars.
Of course, we have the swap meet which will run from 8 - 2'ish on Saturday. Always lots of bargains and treasures there for you to pick up. If you have Model T-related items to sell, reserve your swap meet spot now! Spots are only $20 thru May 17. Prices increase after that. https://www.mtfca.com/homecoming/swap-meet.
And, as always, there will be food! A local Boy Scout troop is providing breakfast beginning at 7 and lunch from 11:00 - 1:30. And after you've eaten, you can enjoy Ullery's Homemade Ice cream. It's not a Model T day without ice cream!

Can't wait to see you all here in Richmond starting May 29! It's going to be a great day.
