Hand Brake / Brake Lever Differences...

Post by BRENT in 10-uh-C » Wed May 15, 2024 9:05 am

I am looking for a Hand Brake Lever suitable for a '09/10 that is nice enough that I can have brass-plated. Bruce doesn't mention much about the structural differences between the years, and I didn't see anything in the Judging Guidelines either, -so is there any differences in the shapes of the lever (-not the cross-shaft or cam) that I should be looking for to look aesthetically correct??

TIA

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I have two late ones. On one, the lever is straight, and on the other it is bent in toward the door.

One addition to my observations in the link Frank supplied. The flat headed clevis pins were also brass plated. I found traces of the plating on the pins of the assembly I discovered.

Allan from down under.
