Transport from L.A. to Virginia

Post by TillieTheTouring » Thu May 02, 2024 6:48 am

I am having difficulty securing transport for a 1924 Model T pickup from Los Angeles to Tidewater Virginia. I am looking for enclosed transport. This vehicle is 87" tall. Need a reliable, verified shipper. Thank you.

I have used Passport Transport in the past with good results.
Don’t be it a rush for cross country transport. Dan

Monthly transport
Uship.com
Shiply
I shipped T and brass era cars across the country
Door to door running and in pieces
Currently looking into a ride for 08 Reo New York to Nv
Prices 2200-3k door to door
You need to be careful as some commercial shippers go yard to yard and cars sit out

And when you get it to Virginia, look us up - There are two local Model T clubs - Colonial based around Williamsburg and Albermarle, based in the Hertford North Carolina vicinity. Tidewater Region AACA is also based in the Tidewater Virginia area and there are a number of Model T enthusiasts that belong.

Are you going to the Pre-War swap meet at Luray? i'll be there so be sure to stop and introduce yourself.

Try these guys.

https://easycarshipping.com

Used them to move an A from Ca to Fl.

You can get a zip code to zip code estimate on their website, then call to set up the details if you are interested.

Excellent service and communication. Fully insured.

Pricing was actually better than the little guys, and no last minute BS.

Thank you to everyone who replied. Oddly enough 'Montway' came through in the end, shipping an 87' high Model T truck from Los Angeles to Gloucester Virginia in five days for $2450. The drivers even cranked it for me while I worked the controls.
