A few gents from our T club is looking into reproducing the Stevens Axle repair tool and wondering how much interest there would be if we made a dozen.
This tool would be for cutting the axle to install the inserts Dan Hatch makes. Would be great for clubs to invest in since Most axles are in need of repair. It will not be cheap but with the cost of tires could justify the cost.
I attached a photo of the tool.
Here is a link to Dan demonstrating it.

Should be interest, do know that Jack Putnam, OH, had a batch of the Steven’s frame and long alignment rods made, and sold them all. Maybe he may make more? Those cutting tools of Dan Hatch for the Steven’s Dan still supplies. The inserts are available in Lang’s catalog.
