Vacuum Wiper

Post by GG Gregory » Mon Jul 01, 2024 4:43 pm

I have a Ford Dealer option vacuum wiper from 1926/27 that I’d like to get rebuilt. I made contact with Ficken Wiper Repair but they don’t rebuild pot metal wipers. Is there anyone else who offers the service?

James A Mahaffey of Atlanta GA had 5 part series of articles in the Model T Times (MTFCI) on Ford automatic wiper.

Lots of good info on reworking, esp. the last article in May-June '24 #451 issue has the exploded view of the assembly by Martynn Vowell Art.

These articles say to contact him on questions, so he may be of help. benzdr@bellsouth.net

Thanks Dan. I’ll contact him. Wish I had those back issues on the wiper.
