21" split rim latch bolt?

Post by KWTownsend » Thu Jun 27, 2024 3:08 pm

This rim is missing the latch bolt. It looks to be a 5/16" x 24 tpi thread. Does it just use a short bolt and washer?

I might add to Jeff's description - it's a rather LARGE round head slotted screw - no washer needed !

Been a while since I have seen an original screw.
I recall it looks a lot like an early cam bearing retaining screw.
