Straighten a warped Heinze coil box switch.
I’ve don’t this a few times with no fails so far. The chunk of round brass has been machined to the shape of the cover and weighs about 3.3 lbs. I leave it in the oven for about 3 hours at 300 degrees. So far none have cracked and all have come out straight. I turn off the oven and let it cool slowly.

Great idea Kim. It sure beats loading it up on some washers with a weight on top and waiting 110 years.
