First post in new forum

Post by BarrisTBuggy » Thu Jul 11, 2024 8:57 pm

This is my first post with this new forum format. I was in the old forum before it was updated years ago. I have and rebuilt 1 Model T. My great grandfather bought it new in 1922. The block date is 2/22/22. It is a touring cut off as it was used on a family farm to move stuff around until 1942 or so when the war started. I went through it in 2011 and got it going for the first time in 69 years. It has the odd one piece spindles used in 22. Here are some before and after pictures. This forum helped me a lot when I was rebuilding and piecing it back together.

Thanks,

James

Welcome back! I joined the form only a few years ago and enjoy it! My Model T is a 1922 touring as well. It was my graduation present from my entire family out of high school last year. :)
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.

I remember those "before" photos from years ago! Very nice and what a fantastic job you have done bringing it back from the brink.

Thank you for showing us the "after"!

I hope to see you here for some time to come. Drive it and enjoy it.

Holy Cow!! My hat's off to you! You took what to me was an impossible situation and really made a nice car/truck out of it!
Enjoy

Looks like there was a ceiling beam that fell on the car. What an effort to fix that!

Looks great! I guess the wheels are a Massachusetts thing - My '27 wheels are done the same way.
