Hot time at Hershey

Post by Dan Hatch » Mon Oct 07, 2024 8:10 pm

According to the AACA forum it was a hot time for opening day in Green field today.
Someone had their camper burn to the ground. Hope it wasn’t one of our guys. And hope no one was hurt.
Looks like luck it was opening day cause no one was parked close to it.

Joe Bell photo.....and , elimination of spicy food not indicated determined by medics. We could laugh from that, but the owner of what was lost in the fire needs help.

Like I said it was good it was the first day. If it had been crowded like it gets could have been a real mess.
A fire like that has always been a worry of mine there. People park so close to each other that a fire like that one would be hard to stop.
I have seen camper windows blown out by propane there a couple times.
One year a couple died from CO trying to stay warm.

Glad no one got hurt from this.

Only one of the four spaces around that Dodge Motor Home had been set up and that guy said he only had his taillights do a melt down.

Other problems may not have been discovered yet.
