People with questions should come here for answers...

Post by Steve Jelf » Tue Oct 15, 2024 2:01 pm

...IF they can't find the answers on their own. BUT you can save yourself the time if you know where to look. Parts ID? Get the digital version of Bruce McCalley's Model T Encyclopedia. It includes the dates of many changes, sometimes even with pictures. There's a truncated version on this website, but the digital edition includes considerably more information. There are a good many more useful references everybody should have:

Some people think I know a lot. A lot of what I know is where to look for answers. You can't remember everything. It's best to let the books remember information for you.

That advice was given to our drafting class and have lived by it for many years. Often it is better to know where to look then give wrong information from memory.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

All you need to know is
“If your not first, your last”
That should get you an A.

Mark, No that Drafting is what you're not supposed to do driving in the Montana 500!! Try passing another T without some drafting, haha

One can't imagine the how much the windage effects a Model T until you have experienced it first hand! It literally feels like a Tow Rope!
