Family Ford

Post by Oldav8tor » Sun Nov 17, 2024 9:03 pm

Some time back I published what I thought was the only photo I had of my family's first Ford, a 1917 Touring. The late Rich Eagle even made a nice painting from it.

To my surprise, while going thru a bunch of photos from my mother's family I came across this mixed in with them. It's a picture of my 10 year old dad (George - sitting) and his brother Ralph. Strange as it seems, I feel a connection to my dad thru my Model T...

Tim,

Very cool, especially to have the original .. in case it's of any interest here's the scan mildly cleaned up, then a small amount of colour added:

Jerry, so true.... the closest you can get to a time machine.

Luke, I am almost without words. I so appreciate what you did to bring the photo to life. Thank you so much!
