Lang's 2025 Calendar

Post by Jones in Aiken SC » Sat Nov 23, 2024 1:46 pm

I got my 2025 Lang's calendar and it is really nice. Lots of great pictures of Model T's. I submitted a photo of my 26 Coupe and lo and behold it was selected. Great photos of all cars, especially Steve Jelf's 15 Runabout in Kansas. Seeing that picture from Steve takes me back to when I lived on the prairie in South Dakota. Some people see just empty flat land, I see splendor in the beauty and enormity of the prairie. George House has a really cool picture of his 26 Tudor. Earliest Model T is a 1914 (except for the cover photo). Looks like I need to get busy and finish up my 12 Roadster and submit a photo of it next year.

Calendars are nice to have, although I get so many from charity groups wanting a donation, I have to save the best one and recycle the rest. What I Need Is A New Lang's CATALOG ! The most recent one that they sent me was a 2021 Catalog, going on FOUR YEARS old ! As much as I have bought from them over the years, I would think that I was on their catalog mailing list, if they have printed a new one since 2021. If they have not printed a new one since 2012, may I suggest that it is about time? I know printing catalogs cost money, but calendars do too, just maybe not as much.

Well you have to buy a calendar for about $10.95 so they aren't giving them away. Like a lot of companies nowadays, they have their catalog on their website available for download. So you bear the printing cost. I sometimes will print out a catalog of a company just because it is easier for an old fashioned guy like me to peruse. I feel your pain.

I also received my 2025 Lang's calendar and really like it and all the previous ones too. Seeing Steve Jelf's '15 Roadster in this calendar is quite deserving considering all that he and his T have been through. It's also nice to see two cars in the calendar from our Dairyland Tin Lizzies club: Ruben and Nancy Kugel's '26 Speedster and Shawn and Barb Gerrit's's '24 Depot Hack.

Concerning Lang's catalogs I'd like to see a new one also. Fortunately, I still have the one from 2021 and like the very helpful diagrams and explanations in it. Perhaps Don or Steve will comment on this.

The last one that I received was also 2021, but I still use it and have had no problems.
