George, reminds me of a guy that said I’m not going to believe it unless I see it. Once he saw it he was convinced but a friend told him well heck you don’t have to see it to believe it if you trust others that says it so. I think the first guy was from Missouri but could be wrong.

The second picture shows three modes of transportation in the day. Automobile, walking, and horseback. We have added a few more these days, but those three still remain!
I am also amazed how many people went hunting in those days. I realize people still do that today, but since I have always lived in the city or suburbs, We do swat flies and spiders, but don't do as much hunting. I would suppose they ate the meat and mounted the head and or antlers, but what did they do with the hide?

With proper persuasion, deer can be trained to be good Ford Sitters.

Tom, as always, thank you for the wonderful pics.

Three are pre-T Fords. With a few “enhancements” (AI coloring and enhanced).

Two Model N. My guess is both are early, probably 1906. They have what appear to be Gray & Davis bale handled side lamps with “eye shades,” or red and green topped lens, and what look like early style radiators.

The third is a 1908 Ford Model S Roadster. The two N were probably maroon, and the S red.

Thanks again Tom.

That is one nice Model S. Too bad Ford didn't carry over that neat looking cowl onto the T.

How come that in many of these hunting party photos the men look like a bunch of gangsters who just robbed the local bank ?
