1914 tack rail

Post by Art Ebeling » Sun Jan 19, 2025 7:46 am

Can someone post a picture of a finished tack rail where the seat upholstery and top are attached on a 14 Runabout? I am having both sides inner and outer made by Jonathon Anderson but I want to see the underside beneath where the top attaches. My 14 body needs some repairs in that area so I want to see the how the exposed part of the tack rail is finished. Thanks, Art

Art, Here are a few photos of my son's 1914 Wilson body runabout. The tack strips were made by Jon Anderson. I hope this helps, Russ Furstnow

Russ, That is what I needed, thank you. I was curious about how far they stuck out from the body. Art
