Kingston High Bridge

Post by Woody23 » Sat Mar 01, 2025 8:40 am

Started a batch of High Bridge coils.

I had the bridges cast in brass and completed the matching.

I ended up making a little jig on my mill to hold the bridge for the three different holes to ensure they were straight, worked out great.

The polishing part is where most of the time spent. Starting with 80 grit and working up to 400 or 600 until I switch to the buffer.

Next need to make the nut plates and assemble the vibrator spring and mount the tungsten points while I wait for the wood to be completed.

I’m always looking for junk KW’s because I can use the iron core for the new primary coils, so if anyone has a pile I’m interested.

Thanks
