The 11th annual Luray swap meet is just around the corner. We are on track for another great swap meet. We are currently @ 110 vendor spaces sold. More spaces are still available. Put these dates on your calendar, you won't want to miss it!!!

if i am able to come i am in the market for a set of fender skirts, any condition, for a 1947 Pontiac Streamliner. if they cast a shadow,they will be good enough for me.

You can stay for the weekend Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday Tour, if you have signed up.

well, i am having to make arrangements for animal feeding and such, so if i make it, i will be coming up thurday afternoon, getting a room and then go to the swap friday morning and go home friday evening. alot of driving but i can feed on thursday morning, and feed on friday evening and the 2 critters will be ok .

Get your room reservation ahead of time or you may be sleeping in your car.

Getting several nights in a row there now is getting rather difficult.

last time i went, 23 i think, i had a room held up for me, and along the way i stopped at a rest stop and picked up a motel coupon book. saw a ad for a room cheaper and closer than the 1 i had held up, and called, got it, and canceled the other. saved about 10 bucks and was much closer to the shin dig and was in a freshly refurbed room .

they did at 1 time have a table you could lay stuff on to sell and the club took a commission. do they still do that>?

I'll be there! My wife is picking up my daughter at UVA (last day of school) and driving to meet me there so we can all look at rusty car parts. Then Off to Cooters for lunch!

It's a great swap meet for Model T and some Model A stuff. Thank God we don't have to put up with tables of Barbie dolls and Beanie Babies. I will be there for sure, but not selling only buying new treasures with a focus on late 1911/early 1912. Maybe 1926 stuff. Then maybe next year I will get organized to sell some stuff.

As someone who lives on the other side of the Atlantic I find the idea of a mid- Atlantic meet quite surreal
