Texas T Turn signal Kit

Post by ModelTWoods » Sun Aug 24, 2025 11:31 am

Does Birdhaven still sell the Texas T turn signal kit that the controller/activator unit attached to the spark lever? I saw them in an old Ben Hardeman Texas T catalog, but I don't see them in Birdhaven's online catalog.

Take a look at this for turn signals. Signal Dynamics, part # 01003. This very small unit is 100% solid state, self canceling, and the flasher is internal to the small control unit, that is about the size of a half pack of cigarettes. The only down side it requires 12 volts. If running LED’s, a small battery would last the entire touring season, Keep in mind that this is only the control module. You’ll have to come up with your own switch and lights. Look at the website and determine if you think it is a good idea. Our group is actively using four of these units with great success. Then get the lights.
Also, LOGO lites has a great complete turn signal set up that works well too. Both 6 and 12 volts, pos or neg ground.
