I have had this tool for quite a while and did not realize it was an available tool made especially for Ford Dealers.

Those common sense punches are still available today, but expensive! I think they sell for around $55. I lucked out not long ago and found one at a swap meet for $5.

$69.95/EA for this one. C $119.99 Approximately US $91.72 for one on Ebay. It made sense for Ford to furnish them although they would have been available through hardware stores or tent and awning makers too. I still use an Exacto knife with band-aids at the ready. (a couple hundred installed) The front cover alignment gauge seems more of a priority to me.
