White Tires From Hershey

Post by Budreau » Sat Jul 06, 2019 1:12 pm

I need to replace my tires on the hack truck. I bought some great like-new whitewall Firestone tires at Hershey (no cracks, plenty of tread, little age) for next to nothing. My original plan was to place the whitewalls on my Speedster and move the Speedster tires (in great condition) to the Hack. Attached are mock-ups I quickly did in Photoshop. I'm now considering placing the tires on the Hack instead - plus that's less tire removal and installation : )

Thoughts?

Keeping all black on both cars are an option too, but I hate the idea of spending $700 on black tires when I have a good set ready to go.

Both cars with black tires:

I vote whitewalls for the speedster. Black looks better on the hack.

What Steve and Gene said, or you could put two whitewalls on the left of the speedster, and two on the right of the hack, and have the best of both worlds. You can never see both side of the car at once.

Ha, Allan for the win. I was hoping everyone would say the hack truck so I would only have to change one set of tires. Thanks all!
