Cool video Herb,
There is a Model T connection here that you might not know.
The Railroad that was built to service the mine modified a T for inspection work.
Around 2008 I was approached about helping to recreate it by the CMO of the Cumbres and Toltec railroad. He moved on and the project died though.

I find such relics fascinating. Is it dangerous? Obviously. So are kiddie pools, forks, Chicago, NYC subways, and bicycles. Should it be "remediated"? Absolutely not!
