BENNETT Carburetor

Has anyone heard of, or had, a Bennett brass updraft carburetor ? If you know, are they a 'economy' carburetor, or a 'performance' carburetor ?

Never heard of it. There could be a connection with Floyd Bennett, an early auto mechanic and later a famed aviation pioneer.

Try doing an internet search with model number if known. I did come across one but might be different model doing that.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Looks like Wilcox-Bennett made petroleum carburetors in Minnesota. There is an ad on eBay and some photos of their manufacturing in the Minnesota State archives. I'm on my mobile device so uploading photos here is kinda a pain.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
