Stevens T-50 Frame rivet tool

Post by DanTreace » Sat Dec 27, 2025 10:21 am

Saw this tool on a FB Vintage Tool I.D. Group, was unidentified by the poster.

So looked up the tool in a Stevens Speed Up Catalog. Rather useful to have when one-man replacing rivets, makes a real good bucking bar.

Would have liked that tool for last job on a crossmember, resorted to using nuts and bolts as jack screws to buck the rivets.

That’s a desirable Stevens tool to have. This probably doesn’t show up very often. Unless you know what you’re looking for this is a tool that’s probably been looked over in junk boxes at swap meets.

Thought so too, the OP on that tool group found it at a garage sale, in Melbourne Australia of all places!
