Shipping inspection tags for New model Ts
I thought someone might find these interesting. (See attached picture) A friend of mine sent me these inspection tags. They came from what was once a small dealership in Virginia. I have a few more. I have some from late 1922 through 1927. I am trying to figure out some of the notation. I believe "KD" is knocked down (shipped by rail car). Trying to determine what SS-RW and OS-RW mean. I think it has to do with having a starter and demountable wheels. I didn't copy the back sides, the dealer wrote the name of the buyer and the date on the back. Noteworthy that one touring is marked as "clincher" ... also "Low truck", "High truck" (rear end ratios), and "Ton truck solid" (tires maybe). I have tickets for a few different origins, but most came from Kearny. It looks like there was a lower portion that was torn off and retained when the car was shipped.

Maybe oversize rear wheels and standard size rear wheels. Nice pieces. Jim
