St. Louis St Paddy’s parade

Post by South Park Zephyr » Wed Mar 18, 2026 9:50 am

We made our annual appearance at the St. Louis parade this past Saturday. 5 cars were available this year including a 1911. The fun has always been the before and after, as most of us know. It is great to see the smiles and waves as we go by and watching the crowd is as much fun for us as the crowd seeing us. As always we end the parade at the local watering hole for a bite and a green beverage. Unfortunately the ‘11 had a bit of an overheating problem and needed a bit of help to get to the end. I had a misfire on the way to the parade and once we lined up we got together and diagnosed a broken wire at the timer was causing the problem. Some problems are easier to fix, luckily this was one. Except for the overheating issue, we had a great day and hope that the St. Louis parade will continue for years to come.
