1926 Tudor gas tank capacity
Hello. I cannot find the fuel capacity of a 1926 Tudor (cowl gas tank) I thought I drained the tank, but when I added fuel it only took 7 gallons of fuel.

The fractions shown in Bill's link are difficult to read. They are legible in the 1926 Service Bulletin on Cimorelli's website. See page 5.

After a close inspection of the chart that I posted, Id like to add this piece of *personal info (see DISCLAIMER below).

According to the image the tank will hold "about" 10 U.S. gallons, BUT if you drain the tank through the drain plug (not shown)- only 8.5 gallons will flow. The other 1.5 gallons will stay in the tank to rot.

*DISCLAIMER- I do not know this to be fact, but judging the image and knowing where the drain plug is, I may, just may, know what I'm talking about. Maybe.
