I have seen the pin or button type and the slotted ones, but ran across this today.
I found two narrow ones with a little lever that pivots over the one pin to keep it on.
Any thoughts, any good ??

That would make me very nervous. Additionally, the clamping surface is badly worn, too.

Dave those were notorious for bending at the ears. The removable ear was made from a crap steel. I have some going to the big furnace in the sky!

Mfg. by Raybestos, and linings came with the band, a mixture of cotton and asbestos.
