This article appeared in the “Boston Evening Transcript,” describing the cars shown at the recently completed New York Auto Show(s). This was the year the ALAM (Selden Patent) rented the Garden for ALAM cars only, and the Independents secured the 69th St. Armory. This is the show Ford presented the highly anticipated $500 Model N. It’s also where the six cylinder Model K was one of only seven six cylinder cars.

I highlighted several categories I thought interesting. The Ford “K” was not only the least expensive “six,” it was the least expensive car equipped with both battery-coil and magneto ignition systems as standard equipment.
