SOLD: 1915 Overland Touring Car

Post by Fozz71 » Thu Dec 21, 2023 3:27 pm

SOLD: 1915 Overland Touring car. Complete and runs and drives well with all bone stock equipment. Has had a decent re-paint and interior was re-done many years ago. Looks very sharp and presents well. The roof is complete and raises, but it is tired. Good large tires and tubes on solid recently restored wheels. Recent fluid changes, buffed out paint and purrs like a kitten. Here's a chance to own a large early tourer alongside your Tin Lizzy. Clear title.

I always liked their fully articulated windshields, good looking machines!

Very nice! The late Charley Shaver (RIP) was a big Overland fan, I wonder what happened to his cars?

That would be a great car and the price seems more than fair. I wish I was 20 years younger and had extra garage space.
Good old Charley Shaver. What a guy.
Thanks for posting the photos.

Overland built EXCELLENT cars. Also, all the factory blueprints are still available through the Overland club. The price is cheap for such a good car!

Negative. As I understand, Mark was the one to handle them. Charles' widow got cold feet and told everyone to take a hike.

It is a very reliable car that fires right up and drives well. Percolates nicely and shifts easily, good brakes and tires too. Clean title.

New videos of it driving and a walk-around available.

Very nice car!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.
