All original Fire Truck manufactured by the General Fire Truck Co. St Louis, MO. The Truck was ordered and purchased by a small village in Central Illinois and was kept and maintained by the village until the 1950's. One of the most unique and original features of the truck is the Himico Engine/Transmission conversion which is a 3-speed with PTO for the pump. The truck runs and drives great, has 4 new tires and still maintains all original accessories such as tools, fittings, nozzles, water hose, lanterns. axes, ladders, bells, search light, headlights etc. Original gold lettering and striping still visible in places. All this is documented by an 8x10 factory photo given to the Village when they purchased their new fire truck. This Truck has been certified HPOF "Historic Preservation of Original Featuresby the AACA. It is 16 ft long and fits in 7 ' door! Add'l pictures and video available upon request.
