Dear MTFCA members,

I will not be able to finish my Ford T for different reasons, so I will sell the running chassis.
Thanks the MTFCA members who help me to restore this car.

This Ford is the number 489, which is a very rare 2 pedal 2 lever exported in juanuary 1909

I restored all the internal and mechanical parts to be able to drive the car in safety conditions. But the external parts were patinated.

Below, I give you the lists of the original and new parts and other pictures.

For more information about the restoration write me in private message.

The price is 85,000 euros (or make an offer, the car is in France).

Yes I kept all the original parts and all the restoration I made are reversible.

Even the magneto could be put again on the engine, I made a brass part to hide the hole.

I don't have beautiful pictures of all of them, but below you will have an overview. I could make more pictures if it is interesting for the next owner.

Dear Ron Mac,
Thank you for your message. Yes, it was a challenge for me to save this very rare original parts.
With build sheet you mean the date of birth of the car? The answer is in the Bruce Mc Calley book due to members of this forum who help me( I bought the book after).
From this book, or other books and discussion with MTFCA members and the red Color I found on the chassis and the rear axle the original body was probably a touring painted in red.

The story is very simple. The chassis with engine mounted in and the rear axle were stored in a barn for a long long time. A lot of people saw it was a Ford T because it was noticed on, but nobody looked closer to see it was one of the first with all the details you know : 2 pedals, 2 levers, water pump…

Holy cow...from $94K in US dollars now to $35K! What a shame of a beating. I feel bad for the seller.

Well, in all honesty, some years ago, a complete & restored 2 pedal T sold for not much more than the original asking price.
