I am in need of one (1) hub cap to fit my 1919 C-door.
Would like one that matches the 'patina' of my other three on the car.
Thanks,
Chuck

Bobs antique auto parts in Rockford may have one. He goes by "FATMAN" on the forum. He has a lot of old parts like that.
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.

Just a comment, if it matters? Chuck Lebeda's hubcap appears to be originally nickel plated brass, while the "Saint's" hubcap was nickel plated steel. Ford went back and forth between brass and steel (and for a short while in 1925 even stamped zinc which were cheaper to make, but slowed down production because they were too fragile!). I have never seen any definitive timelines for which were most common? However I believe the nickel plated brass were probably most likely more correct for the late 1910s.
Sorry, I don't have any to offer right now. Some years ago I picked up a few original nickel plated brass hubcaps with poor nickel or other damage to buff out as poor-man's brass hubcaps to use where I don't have enough genuine (the script is slightly different!) brass era hubcaps. I may actually have one decent one? But I don't even know where to look for it.
