Hi folks,
I am currently going through all the mechanicals of my unrestored 14 touring car and have found one of the flywheel magnets has a crack. I am chasing another as I can't see new ones for sale at the parts vendors. These are the smaller 5/8 section ones rather than the later 3/4 size. Please let me know if you have one or two that you would sell so I can get the car back together.
Best regards,
Bill

Re: WTB pre 1915 flywheel magnet
Bill, I am doing the same thing at the moment, but with a later set. I give the magnets a sharp crack on a vise, holding them at the bend. Two of the set broke under this test. One was previously cracked looking at the break, the other showed no sign of an old crack. You may want to do the same test, and perhaps up your order.

Re: WTB pre 1915 flywheel magnet
Hi Allan, yes good advice mate, everything is coming together so nicely so the last thing that I want is a magnet stepping out of bed and wiping out my transmission.
If anyone has a couple of magnets please let me know
Regards,
Bill

If anyone has a pre 1915 style magneto magnet that I could buy please let me know. I can pay straight away by paypal. I really want to finish my mechanical rebuild and get the car on the road.
This is the 5/8 size magnet , thanks, Bill
