WTB a good 1925 roadster door hinge

Post by Reno Speedster » Tue Dec 03, 2024 8:03 pm

I am looking for a door hinge to go on my speedster. Looking at T door hinges, I think the straight one piece hinge from the 25 roadster would work (see picture below) (feel free to let me know if I have identified the hinge year/model incorrectly). I would like one that works well, is not ratted out or all rust pitted. I would be happy with a reproduction one, but I don’t see one currently offered. Please let me know if you have one you would be willing to part with.

Morgan, check the holes in your door and post. Make sure they are the same pattern as the one you show. The early style hinges have a different pattern.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Mark, it’s for a speedster so I can make the door fit the hinge. I am making a skiff body car with a body that looks like a wooden boat. I have been working on mechanicals, but am going to get back to working on the body.

I have thought about flipping an aluminum rowboat over and doing a speedster. Then I would have a real boattail speedster. :)

Thanks Ken, send me a message with the price. If I can’t find a single, buying a pair might be the way to go.
