WTB - Strong Sight Feed Oiler
I am reconstructing an early fairgrounds racer that had a Strong sight gauge / lifter driven oil pump for moving oil to the front of the engine. I would like to faithfully reconstruct the car as close as possible to the original and would appreciate if anyone had one of these setups, preferably with the sight glass and associated accessories to spare.
Many thanks in advance.
Brian
Many thanks to Mike Silbert for helping me to identify the piece.

Suggest you include a picture of what your asking for.
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

Re: WTB - Strong Sight Feed Oiler
Back in 2009 the forum had this posted accessory.
It is an oil pump that uses valve lift to work its plunger.
Oil is pumped up to the dash board and into a sight glass for the driver to see.
Oil then drains down to the front of the engine by gravity.
It's purpose is to keep oil in the front bearings.

Even if one could be borrowed to copy that would help make this as authentic of a car as possible.
Period pictures of the car show one mounted on the side of the engine.

There have been a couple of the side plates on eBay in the recent past. Not a complete kit, but a start.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I've got one that I'm willing to sell but I don't think the glass is there.

Re: WTB - Strong Sight Feed Oiler
@#4 I'll send a message. I picked up one of the side plates from this listing, but would still like to have the glass pieces. If you don't have them, I'll probably wait and see the condition of this piece and reach back out.
@Jay Yeah, I think I saw your listing and reached out to the buyer but didn't get a response. It may have been someone else. Thanks again!
