Hollywood H1 carburetor for sale.

Post by Allan » Wed Jul 09, 2025 12:06 am

I ran this on my 1912 van for 25 years. The car got hard to crank start so I replaced it with Stan Howe rebuilt spare. It turned out that the hard starting was due to a shrunken cork float that was very loose on the hinge so the float level was all over th place.

It will need a new float. It may be better with a viton tip needle and seat, and a new throttle shaft, but neither of these effected its running.

Pretty rare for us here in the USA to see a right hand drive throttle lever!

I completely overlooked that detail Layden. Thankyou for pointing it out.
