In fairness, Those are why we replace them. If you would show what they measure with a micrometer both ways, you will know what I mean.

Clay, those are early L shaped shackles, superseded by the later U shaped ones. To my knowledge they are not reproduced. Yours are relatively easy to rebuild with weld and then machined back to size. You have the basics of a complete set for someone wanting the correct type for their car.

These will probably outlast the repops and they are $305 a set. They are also Ford Script.

Junk or repair? Original repair or repops?

They followed the figure 8 shackles with the brass oilers. On our Canadian sourced cars they were used up until 1925 or thereabouts. I believe US production went to the U shaped shackles earlier.
