NOS Door Glass???

Post by Dan Hatch » Sun Aug 03, 2025 3:58 pm

Any interest in these NOS Window glasses with the bottom channels? The one with the Tag still on it says 23-25 Right for Coupe and Fordor. The bigger one is probably for Tudor?
If you just want the bottom channels, I would see about knocking the glass out. Sure would hate too. You don’t find NOS stuff very often anymore. I can bring to Hershey in Oct or pickup here. I will ship the channels. Email me by the forum. Thanks Dan.

P.S. you have to take all of them.

While NOS parts are awesome, when available, these are plate glass.
Replacing plate glass in our windshields is mandatory to tour and recommended in all windows.
I personally would not install the glass even if it were free.
They will make great patterns for new safety glass and how they were originally assembled.
Also I do not have a 23-25 Coupe or Fordor. I don't know if I can use the other unidentified assemblies
Others may feel differently, that is my opinion.

Now I could use the bottom window channels for my projects.
I can also pick up these pieces at Hershey if it works out that way.

Agree: NOS glass makes for a death-mobile. I am currently having all the glass replaced in my 1924 Fordor. NOS is OK right up until someone crashes into your car, then you are covered in flying thick heavy glass, the cause of most car-crash deaths "back i n the day". I am sorry to remove the glass from what would be a good HPOF AACA vehicle, great for a static display but unsafe at any speed.

Dan,

Do you think any of those might be for a Center Door?

Don’t know. Only the one with tag on it has ID.
Also , if anyone wants them $50 for ALL. Pickup here or maybe Hershey. If I don’t hear from someone in a week, in the trash, can’t save everything.

After Dan sent a picture and I did some research these window parts will not work for me.
I need the 26-27 and Model A style which these are not.
Dan's channels are not reproduced so there has to be someone who needs them.

Here is the roller on the end of my regulators.
It has to fit into the grove on the bottom of the glass.

According to the parts books there is a change from the up to 1925 and the new "3 Screw" regulator for 1926.
I thought it was just length of the bar, but the roller groove changed also.
Since I don't remember the earlier style ever being reproduced someone should need yours
Here is a parts listing breakdown sample
