WTB choke/mixture rod for '27 coupe
Does anyone know where I can obtain a choke/mixture rod for my '27 coupe. It has a Holley NH with the bayonet type connection on the carb not the other rocker top type. The previous owner put a rod in it where nothing fits properly. I might not have the nomenclature correct as I am new to this and am trying to get my car in shape to run.

Mike,
A 1927 Coupe should have come with a vaporizer setup and it sounds like it was converted to standard.
When converting they typically use the 25-26 carburetor u-joint mixture setup and the 1926 choke setup.
These are parts are available from your favorite supplier.
If I understand your description correct you have a non standard setup and will need a custom adapter.
Pictures would help figure this issue out.

The rod that I have is 29 inches long and it needs to be about 26 inches. Here is the photo

The repro rods are made long & you cut as needed - there is a small tension pin holding the knob on - remove, shorten rod as needed, re-drill for pin, re-install pin - all done.
