FS RAJO 4 Valve Head

Post by ThreePedalTapDancer » Fri Sep 12, 2025 5:58 pm

Here is an Australian reproduction steel Rajo 4 Valve in head. It was purchased new by my father a long time ago and never installed or used. It includes the polished aluminum intake manifold, polished twin valve covers, and pushrods. This is one of the good reproductions. The head bolt holes all line up properly to a gasket. Includes new plain graphite gasket, and used original copper Rajo 4 valve gasket. The rocker arm assembly’s are also included. These heads are beautiful to look at, and run very well. I had the pleasure of riding in a T with one installed, and it was a fast experience. Perfect for a speedster or for those that want to go faster. I was saving for a future speedster build, but I decided to pursue other projects. It is very heavy, will have to be crated and shipped via freight, or maybe several boxes ups. Pickup preferred. 3900.00 plus shipping.

These heads work great with the Egge high dome pistons.

good information. where does that put the compression ratio?
My Gallivan had 12 to 1 with no ill effects. It is now 8.5 to 1. Easier to start, still loud and very fast.

Ted Aschman, a renowned Editor of Model T lore, greatly favored the 4 Valve Rajo and the Rajo C-35 Overheads as his favorites. I remember him writing me a letter many years ago when we used to correspond.

One great feature of a 4 valve is you can install them on a car without having to cut or modify the firewall. Just something to consider.....
