For Sale: Aluminum High Compresson Head

Not sure who produced this head, or the compression rating on it. It appears to be greater than 6 to1 but that's just my opinion. The only markings on it other that the Ford script and made in USA is a 4 at the water outlet and a 2 and 4 at the back of the top surface of the head. These numbers are raised and part of the casting.

There are no markings of any kind inside the water chamber. The top of the inside (combustion chamber) is flat and and is 11/16 inch deep. The head comes with a "head saver" to protect it from electrolysis. It also comes with stainless steel
washers to protect the head, these are for under the head bolts. In addition it also comes with two original water outlet casting bolts.

To install this head you will only need a head gasket and a water outlet casting gasket. You may or not need head bolts.
The thickness of the head is 2 9/16 inch. The price is
$425.00 shipping cost is to be determined.

Could it be a REEDER? Looks like an early one before FORD made him quit putting the Ford script on his.
