Original steel-tank Model T radiator. Removed years ago and stored indoors. Not a reproduction.
- correct black-era for 1917-1923 Model T (including pickup)
- Original steel top and bottom tanks
-Vertical tube core (appears original/early core, not modern)
-Holds water but has small leak (likely seam or tube)
-No freeze crackes noted
-Excellent candidate for repair
-Overall straight, complete, and unmodified.
It was operating in my 1923 Touring car when my uncle gave it to me a few years ago, but was too tall. I understand the height changed in 1923, and someone in the past[image][/image] replaced the original one with this one. Total height 23 3/4". I bought a replacement shorter one (22" overall?) which fit correctly.
Shows normal age, patina, and wear consistent with original Ford production.
Photos upon request. Can't see how to attach here.
Asking $750
FS: 1923 original tall radiator, small leak
