WTB - Single White Wall

Post by MadMax » Mon May 09, 2022 6:11 pm

Howdy all! I’m looking for a single whitewall tire for the rear wheel of a ‘15 touring.

I will be at Luray if someone has one. Drop me a note.

Sorry for the vague details as it got me that I wanted to do this and forgot… and I’m on a plane and heading out of town for a couple days. I can’t check the size but it is a standard size rear wheel.

I have a new old stock, not very old, Lester 30X3 1/2 whitewall. We just took it out of the wrappers last week. I was on a four day tour and on the next to the last day I lost a large piece of tread off my tire so I stopped off at a friends and asked if he had a 30X3 1/2 tire that he could loan me and this tire was the only one he had that wasn't on a car so we unwrapped it and put it on my car and I finished the tour on it. Approx. 35 miles. As soon as I got home I removed it and so he said that he wants $150.00 for it. I'm in California.

Howdy all,

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you regarding the whitewall tire from back in May. Between travel for work, prepping for the Wisconsin tour, and trying to fix the car as a result of the Wisconsin tour (ha ha ha), I lost track of this post.

I dropped an email to Ed, but figured I'd repost on here.

Joe, do you have one?
