reconditioned original roller timers

Post by Bruce Compton » Fri Dec 16, 2022 8:45 pm

Time to thin down the shelves. I have 4 original roller timers with excellent rollers for sale. The contact surfaces have been machined true again and the rollers trued up as well. All the cases measure 3.000" or more so they won't wander around in a decent timing cover. Asking $35.00 for each set plus shipping, or all 4 sets (8 pcs.) for $135.00 including shipping.

Two sets sold so the other two sets can be had for $80.00 including the shipping.

Three of those appear to be accessory "Tiger" timers - not original Ford as you stated - FYI.

Thanks Steve, what's the difference? I've had some of these for 40 years and always though they were stock Ford.

The "Tiger" has a thinner pressed steel shell with that tell-tale oiler cap - the 2 with the maroon insulator ring are "era" as back in the day - the orange one is a modern repro.

Ford timer cases were stamped "Ford" in script usually near or on the spark lead eyelet for the most part as was the roller.
