Tried to take compression pressure with this NIEHOFF compression gauge. Got to 25 lbs on first stroke hand cranking it ( no starter) but my daughter could not hold it tight enough for the second or third stroke and it would blow by the rubber tip. This is DRY pressure. Has not been run in over 50 years. Tried #1 & 2 cylinders and stopped. Will have to do some digging when I get to it and find my screw in hose and gauge. I have adapters I have made using 1/2 inch steel pipe plugs and drilled and tapped them for 18 millimeter threads.
This unit has an extra tip and seal washers for the connections in the handle.
As several of you know, it is difficult to find things when you pack up and move across country and do not have the space to unpack your garage boxes and find what you want. Also 90 plus degrees in the garage does not help either.
