I have two of those caps and had one on a 1950 Prefect radiator. Are they British production? Were they used on tanks and rads?

Ken, this one came from a radiator top tank, from a small English car like a Prefect or Anglia. The Ford script varies quite a bit. This one is one of the better ones.
